— Melina earned No. 1 contender status to the Divas Championship as a result of her victory over Alicia Fox and Eve in a Triple Threat Match on RAW. Melina then slapped Natalya, who had congratulated her.

— Melina, who posted a photo of herself with short hair over the weekend on Twitter, apologized to fans about not keeping the look going forward.

She wrote, “You guys r getting me all hyped up 4this new year! I’m feeling GREAT! I’m sorry about the hair! I truly do luv short hair though! One day!”
