Tyson Fury reportedly has yet to sign an official contract with WWE past Crown Jewel, while Cain Velasquez’s contract with the company is believed to be three years in length, PWInsider’s Mike Jonson reported.
Johnson reported that there are currently no plans for Fury to work more dates for WWE beyond Thursday’s Crown Jewel event, where he’ll be wrestling Braun Strowman, but he has reportedly loved his time with the company and is open to the idea of making a potential return in the future.
In regards to Velasquez’s status with Lucha Libre AAA, Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE officials currently consider Velasquez’s commitments with AAA to be finished due to AAA canceling their Invading LA event, which would have been held on October 13th. But Meltzer also reported that AAA officials currently believe Velasquez still has one more date remaining on his current contract with them.
