Jakks Pacific will begin work on the TNA line of action figures next month for the January 2010 debut.
There was a story going around Puerto Rico that TNA had purchased part of the IWA Puerto Rico promotion, but that looks to be an angle in one of the local magazines. LAX recently worked there, and won the IWA Tag Team titles.
Midway is continuing to work on the second TNA video game, even though they have filed for bankruptcy. TNA is listed as a creditor, and as of now, Midway owes TNA roughly $150,000.
TNA superstars had a successful week in Japan as they went 3-0 on the weekend card. Beer Money Inc. defeated Masahiro Chono and AKIRA, Team 3D successfully defended the IWGP Tag Team Titles against Togi Makabe and Toru Yano and finally, Kurt Angle defeated Giant Bernard to earn an IWGP Title shot against Hiroshi Tanahashi on April 5th.
