There was “recognition backstage by those in charge that the Dark Order angle that closed Dynamite fell extremely flat,” PWInsider says.

Dynamite ended with the Dark Order beating down pretty much every member of “The Elite” to little crowd reaction.

Colt Cabana

Colt Cabana, who finished up with Ring of Honor last week, did guest commentary on AEW Dark at the tapings on Wednesday.

He was also doing some coaching / match producing backstage, so it was somewhat of an AEW tryout for that role, according to PWInsider.

Shawn Spears

Shawn Spears will definitely be getting a tag team partner, PWInsider says. The current angle is that Spears and Tully Blanchard are looking for the perfect partner.

Yearly Show in Jacksonville

The next Dynamite will take place on January 1 in Jacksonville, FL at Daily’s Place, which was the site of AEW Fight for the Fallen in July.

The idea is that the first show of each year will always take place at the venue as a tradition, according to PWInsider.
