Fandango said on Instagram that he just underwent Tommy John surgery on his left elbow.
He suffered the injury on the December 11 episode of NXT during a match between Breezango and the Singh Brothers.
Recovery time from the surgery for non-pitcher athletes is typically about six months, but could be upwards of a year.
Fandango just returned in June from a torn labrum that kept him out since July 2018.
