“The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith will be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. WWE hasn’t officially announced his induction yet, but it will likely be coming soon.
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 2 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL.
WWE has so far officially announced Batista and the nWo as inductees. The Bella Twins and Jushin “Thunder” Liger have also been reported as nominees this year.
The British Bulldog wrestled in the WWF/WWE on and off from 1984 to 2000. He’s a former Intercontinental Champion, two time Tag Team Championship (with Owen Hart and Dynamite Kid), European Champion and Hardcore Champion. He died in 2002 from a heart attack.
