WrestleMania Match Changed & More News on Wrestlers Missing WrestleMania

Several wrestlers, including Roman Reigns, The Miz, Andrade, Rey Mysterio, Buddy Murphy and Dana Brooke are reportedly off of WrestleMania due to various issues, mostly related to coronavirus fears.

The Miz & John Morrison were originally scheduled to defend their SmackDown Tag Team titles against either The Usos or The New Day at WrestleMania, but The Miz was feeling sick, so he was sent home.

Instead, WWE taped a singles ladder match between John Morrison and one of the Usos for WrestleMania, according to Dave Meltzer.

There was also a rumor going around the internet that Edge may have been off of the show, but Meltzer confirmed that the Edge vs. Randy Orton match was in fact taped.

It was reported earlier today that Buddy Murphy also missed this week’s tapings because he “wasn’t cleared,” and Meltzer confirmed that it was also because he’s sick.

WWE has been extra cautious, sending wrestlers home if they show any signs of illness, including a cough or stuffy nose.
