FOX officials were reportedly not happy with the angle on last week’s SmackDown where Jeff Hardy threw a cup of “urine” in Sheamus’s face, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Part of the segment was actually cut from the west coast broadcast, which aired three hours after the east coast broadcast. Right before Hardy was about to toss the cup in Sheamus’s face, the show cut to commercials on the west coast feed.
The segment apparently violated FOX’s Standards & Practices.
