Two matches scheduled for tonight’s WWE Clash of Champions PPV are no longer happening, according to a report by POST Wrestling.
The Bayley vs. Nikki Cross SmackDown Women’s title match is off for an unknown reason. Cross was not at Friday’s SmackDown and is also not at the arena today. It’s expected that Bayley may still wrestle someone else.
The Women’s Tag Team title match with Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler taking on the Riott Squad is also no longer happening, the report says.
The reasons for the cancellations aren’t known yet, but POST Wrestling says that they were told that the matches would be addressed tonight.
Also, PWInsider says that the Asuka vs. Zelina Vega Raw Women’s title match has been moved from the Kickoff show to the main card, and that a new Kickoff match will be added.
