— According to a very reliable backstage source, there has been absolutely no contact between Steve “Sting” Borden and World Wrestling Entertainment officials. This story was way overblown by many fans due to a New York Daily News report claiming Sting had signed a one-year deal with WWE.

— After Kelly Kelly speared Layla to help Edge preserve his World Championship against Dolph Ziggler Friday night on SmackDown!, “acting” SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero fired the blonde bombshell from WWE. Her bio page has been moved to the Alumni section. This is obviously a storyline angle.
