Kylie Rae Says She’s “No Longer a Professional Wrestler”

Kylie Rae announced on her Patreon that she is “currently unwell” and is “no longer a professional wrestler.”

Good morning,

I’m truly sorry for the pain I’ve caused and miscommunication, I am currently unwell.

I’m also sorry that I wasn’t able to get this out before your monthly subscription charge.

I wanted to take this time to say I am no longer a professional wrestler and am currently taking a break from social media. It’s been a very hard decision to make but please understand.

When I am well, I will try to fulfill any obligations that have missed.

During this time, most tiers will not be able to be fulfilled, please feel free to unsubscribe from this membership/PatreonAccount.

Thank you for your understanding. <3

Rae was scheduled to face Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship last week at the Impact Bound for Glory PPV, but reportedly didn’t show up to the show, despite being at the hotel the night before. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Impact tried to contact her, but received no response, so they called for a wellness check at her hotel room, but learned that she had checked out. They also contacted her friends and boyfriend and eventually found out after the PPV that she was physically OK.

In May, it was announced that she had signed a long-term contract with Impact.

Kylie Rae asked for her release from AEW in 2019 after wrestling in just one match for the company. When she returned to wrestling four months after her final AEW match, she said, “I needed to get my mind, body, and soul right with God. I wish I had the answers but the truth is I don’t.”
