Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa was originally booked for this coming Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, but this past Wednesday, AEW was no longer advertising the match.
The reason is because Thunder Rosa recently came into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, so AEW pulled the match for now as a precautionary measure, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The match will still take place at some point in the future, likely once Rosa has been cleared to compete.
Instead of Baker vs. Rosa, there will be an NWA Women’s Championship match on Wednesday’s Dynamite between champion Serena Deeb and Tay Conti. And Britt Baker will host a “Waiting Room” segment with Cody Rhodes as the guest.
