Last night, as Xavier Woods entered the ring on his own for a singles match against T-Bar, WWE explained that Kofi Kingston was out with a “broken jaw.”
It’s not clear if his jaw is actually broken, but he does appear to have a legitimate jaw issue.
During an interview he did on Instagram that was posted yesterday, Kingston said, “First and foremost, I gotta apologize because I feel like I’m talking out the side of my mouth and I’m dealing with like a jaw injury right now and my mouth is only closing on one side, so if I sound kind of funny, that’s why. I’m talking funny, trying to figure this situation out.”
Kingston last wrestled last Monday on Raw when The New Day defeated The Miz and John Morrison.
No word yet on how long he may be out.
