Japanese women’s wrestler Meiko Satomura reportedly recently signed an official contract with WWE, according to Nikkan Sports.
Nikkan Sports reported (via F4WOnline.com) that Satomura’s contract was for a player-coach type role in the company’s NXT UK brand. It was also reported that the terms in her deal allows her the ability to continue working in her current role as the president of Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling in Japan.
During today’s episode of NXT UK, WWE announced that Satomura will be making her official debut for the brand soon.

Prior to her signing, Satomura had previously worked for WWE at their 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament and had made several guest coach appearances at the Performance Center.
