Backstage: Kenny Omega, Sydal Brothers – Omega rudely interrupted an interview with the Sydals and said maybe if they keep up the wins, they’ll one day be on Dynamite and step into the ring with the champ. Matt Sydal said he’s the perfect guy to step into the ring with the champ. Omega said that if Sydal can beat Michael Nakazawa right now, he’d give him a match.

14. Matt Sydal defeated Michael Nakazawa via pulling down his pants and kicking him in the head. After the match, Omega attacked both Sydals with a MacBook and said forget about Dynamite, let’s do the match now. He hit Matt Sydal with a One Winged Angel and Nakazawa forced the ref to count to three. Tony Khan then came out and said that “this is crap” and Omega made a promise, so nine days from now on Dynamite, Omega would face Sydal and if Sydal wins, he’ll get an AEW World Championship match.
