Charly Caruso is reportedly done appearing on WWE TV and is expected to leave the company when her contract expires, according to PWInsider. There’s no word on when exactly her contract is up, but Fightful says that the belief is that it’s “soon.”
Yesterday, it was first reported by Fightful that Caruso had “backstage heat” after arriving late a few times to conduct backstage interviews on Raw. Vince McMahon was informed of this and “took exception” with it.
WWE hired broadcaster Kevin Patrick earlier this month, who is seen as a direct replacement for Caruso. Patrick hosted Raw Talk this week, which is usually hosted by Caruso, and has also been doing some backstage interviews in the past couple of weeks, along with Kayla Braxton and Sarah Schreiber. Braxton hosted Raw Talk two weeks ago instead of Caruso.
Braxton joined WWE in 2016, first appearing on NXT. She also works for ESPN as a correspondent on the show “First Take.”
