The Real Reason For Sheamus Being Pushed Down

One of the reasons for WWE curtailing the push of Sheamus in recent weeks is because Kevin Dunn, the organization’s Executive Vice President of Television Production, is not a fan of his.

Several months ago on an episode of Monday Night RAW, Sheamus was booked to cower away in fear from The Nexus. This reportedly led Dunn to brainstorm the “King Sheamus” persona, including outfit, as means to mock him.

It’s been noted over the years that behind Vince McMahon, Dunn has the biggest say in the company’s creative direction.
