NXT Tag Team Titles Vacated Due to Injury to Danny Burch

William Regal announced today on Twitter that the NXT Tag Team Championship has been vacated by Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch due to a legitimate injury that Burch suffered last week.

Regal said that he “will address the state of the titles further tomorrow night on NXT.”

WWE confirmed that Burch suffered a separated shoulder in the main event of last week’s NXT show where Burch and Lorcan faced Karrion Kross and Finn Balor. There’s no word on how long Burch will be out, but Karrion Kross missed about four months of ring time after suffering a separated shoulder in August, which forced him to vacate the NXT Championship.

Burch & Lorcan had been champions since October 21, 2020 when they defeated Breezango.
