WWE officially announced today that NXT will be moving to Tuesday nights starting on Tuesday, April 13, which would be the first episode after WrestleMania.
The move had been rumored for weeks and is the end of the “Wednesday night war” between NXT and AEW.
WWE also announced that they have signed a “multi-year extension” for NXT with USA Network.
The show will remain in its 8-10 PM ET time slot on Tuesdays and episodes will be available on Peacock in the US the day after it airs on USA Network.
Impact Wrestling, which currently airs on Tuesday nights, already announced that they’ll be moving to Thursday nights starting April 8.
