WWE will be returning to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday, September 10 for a live SmackDown TV episode, PWInsider is reporting.
WWE was last at “the world’s most famous arena” for a house show in December 2019.
MSG, which was closed for several months during the pandemic, officially returned to full capacity on June 20 with a Foo Fighters concert – the first concert at the venue in well over a year. The New York Knicks and Rangers played at the arena this year with limited capacity crowds.
