Montez Ford underwent an undisclosed surgery this week, but reportedly isn’t expected to be out for long.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, “He did get legitimate surgery, a voluntary surgery not related to an injury and not something that should keep him out of action for any significant length of time.”
Ford was attacked by Otis on the June 11 SmackDown, which appears to have been an angle to temporarily write him off of TV for now.
