NXT UK Champion WALTER is injured, WWE announced today.

According to PWInsider, his injury is legitimate, not a storyline, but the specifics are not clear right now and there’s no word on how much time he may miss.

WWE claimed that he suffered a “severe injury to his left hand and has been deemed unfit to compete for his scheduled rematch with Ilja Dragunov.”

WALTER was scheduled to defend the NXT UK Championship against Dragunov on next Thursday’s NXT UK episode.
