New NWA Champion Crowned, Party w/ Ex-Divas

— There is a major freezing rain event in progress here in Albany, NY. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an ice storm this bad. The power has been flickering here in the office all night and they are calling for nearly an inch of freezing rain followed by 4-8 inches of heavy wet snow + wind tomorrow (Monday) morning. I honestly expect to lose power with how bad it is. This is just a fair warning that if we’re a little late with news tomorrow you’ll know why.

— Colt Cabana beat Adam Pearce at the NWA Championship from Wrestling television taping to win the NWA Championship on Sunday.

— The WWE Tough Enough photos that Trish Stratus posted on Facebook actually featured Trish, Booker T and Hugh Morris alongside G4: Attack Of The Show stars. I apologize for the earlier error and thanks to the many readers who pointed that out to us. My apologies again guys.

— Ashley Massaro, Maria Kanellis, Tiffany and Katie Lea kick off the “DivaMania Tour” on Saturday, March 19 at Starters Riverport 17 West 2nd St. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The autograph signing takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. The former WWE Divas will then host a party at Starters beginning at 11:30 p.m. For more information call 610-625-2300. Admission to each event is $10. Jillian Hall was due to appear at the event, but canceled after announcing her pregnancy. She has since been replaced by Ashley Massaro, who will be making her first wrestling related appearance since 2009.
