“Filthy” Tom Lawlor’s contract with MLW has expired and he’s now done with the company.
On Twitter today, Lawlor said that he was officially a free agent today and thanked MLW for the past four years.
As of today, I am a free agent in the world of professional wrestling. Thank you to @mlw @courtbauer @MSL @beINSPORTSUSA for the time & effort they put in with me. But mostly I’d like to thank the MLW staff, wrestlers past & present, and fans for the 4 years of memories! #mlw

MLW CEO Court Bauer thanked Lawlor for his “tour of duty.”

A former UFC fighter, Lawlor joined MLW in 2017 and eventually won the MLW World Heavyweight Championship in 2019. Since July 2020, he’s also wrestled on NJPW Strong in the US and is the first and current NJPW Strong Openweight Champion.
