NXT 2.0 is tentatively scheduled to have its first TakeOver-like event on Sunday, December 5, according to Brandon Thurston.
It’s not confirmed yet if the show will still be called “TakeOver” or if NXT 2.0’s Peacock/WWE Network streaming specials will have a new name.
NXT’s last TakeOver event was TakeOver 36 on August 22, when Samoa Joe defeated Karrion Kross to win the NXT Championship.
