— The story of the women who claims her recently-deceased husband is Stan Lane has been picked up by the Memphis Commercial Appeal. The woman sticks by her story that her husband, Stanley Ticer, was Stan Lane, despite being spoken to by the actual Lane. “She insisted that her husband was Stan Lane of The Fabulous Ones and that she has pictures to prove it,” said Sal Corrente, an adviser to Lane. “I told her: ‘I don’t know what you have, but I have the real Stan Lane.'” You can’t make this sh*t up guys, hah!
