Saturday’s AEW Full Gear PPV is estimated to have done around 145,000 buys worldwide, according to Wrestlenomics.
That would make it the second best-selling AEW PPV in AEW history, only behind their last PPV, All Out in September, which generated an estimated 205,000 buys worldwide and featured CM Punk’s first match in AEW.
This is an early estimate that includes all buys worldwide, including traditional PPV and streaming buys. Traditional cable and satellite PPV buys typically take a while to report, so final numbers may vary.
With PPV buys, ticket sales and merchandise, AEW likely generated around $4 million in revenue, Wrestlenomics estimated. That’s assuming around $7 million in total PPV buy revenue and a 45% split to AEW. The estimated ticket sale gate at the Target Center in Minneapolis was around $650,000, with 10,442 tickets distributed, Wrestlenomics added, and estimated merchandise sales were $150,000.
