— As everyone knows by now, the abysmal main event in last night’s TNA Victory Road PPV was not merely been a booking mishap. As we noted, Hardy was in “no condition” to wrestle and the match was cut ridiculously short. Given the fact that a video highlight package was ready, it’s clear that the decision was made earlier in the evening. Furthermore, Hardy will not be appearing at the TNA TV tapings tonight or tomorrow night. Hardy and Sting’s main event lasted 90 seconds with Sting pinning Hardy. A “bullshit” chant came from the crowd to which a pissed off Sting said “I agree”. Hardy returns to court this Wednesday. All parties concerned acknowledge that a plea bargain deal had been reached months ago. However, at the last minute, one side pulled out. The case has been continued a number of times with the latest hearing this Wednesday.

— Last week’s WWE SmackDown! did a 1.93 (1.9) cable rating, with 3 million viewers. This is down from last week’s 1.97 (2.0) cable rating with 3.5 million viewers.

— Jonny Fairplay will appear on the 4/1 Dragon Gate USA show in Burlington, NC.
