Jake “The Snake” Roberts said on Twitter that he recently tested positive for COVID-19.
I’ve waited so long. Actually thought I was bulletproof. Yes I’ve gotten Covid-19!!!!!

Yes after not going to do my AEW work for nearly 3 months. Tony Kahn knows I’m high risk and has gone above and beyond all expectations trying to keep everyone safe. Pretty sure I got it from family or when I was out shopping.

Roberts hasn’t been on AEW TV since around July. He reportedly had foot surgery around then.
Lance Archer, whom he manages, has also been off of TV after suffering a neck injury during a botched moonsault in October. There’s no word on how long Archer may be out. Tony Khan said last month that Archer “twisted his neck” but is “good.” When asked when Archer may return, Khan said, “I’m not exactly sure. I don’t want to rush.”
