Riddle Reportedly Was Planned Royal Rumble Winner Before Change to Lesnar

Riddle was originally planned as the winner of the Royal Rumble before WWE decided to go with Brock Lesnar instead, according to a report by PWInsider.

The plans for the Rumble changed several times over the course of the past week before Lesnar was ultimately chosen as a surprise entrant to win.

There was also a pitch for Randy Orton to win the Rumble at one point, PWInsider says, but the front runner choice was Riddle.
