Vader will be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall of Fame class, WWE announced today.
The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on Friday, April 1 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX and will air live on Peacock after SmackDown that night in the same arena.
Vader wrestled most of his career in Japan and in WCW, only wrestling for the WWF from 1996-1998. He’s a former three time WCW World Champion and three time IWGP Heavyweight Champion in NJPW. He died in 2018 at the age of 63 after dealing with several health issues.
