WWE is bringing in Shane McMahon to at least be in town for WrestleMania this weekend, according to a report by PWInsider.
There’s no word if he will actually appear on the PPV, but he’ll be there with WWE and is scheduled to be in the Dallas area for the entire weekend, PWInsider says.
Shane was last seen at the Royal Rumble in January, but was sent home by WWE a couple of days later after reported backlash to his producing of the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Shane was originally planned to have a match at WrestleMania and was set to be a regular on Raw after the Rumble, but those plans were scrapped. Reports had Shane possibly facing Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, but Shane was also pitching a match against Austin Theory with a storyline revolving around Vince McMahon.
Seth Rollins will face a mystery opponent of Vince McMahon’s choosing at WrestleMania and it’s heavily expected to be a debuting Cody Rhodes, but this Shane McMahon report does make you think…
