LA Knight appeared in a new role during a dark segment before tonight’s SmackDown: as the manager of Mace, who also had a new gimmick.
Knight, dressed in a suit, cut a promo saying that he was creating a group called “Knight Model Management” and introduced his first client, Mace.
Mace was also dressed in a suit and defeated Erik of the Viking Raiders in a dark match after Knight caused a distraction.
Mace, the former “Retribution” member, last wrestled in November of last year.
It was rumored last week that Knight was in consideration for a call up to the main roster in a manager role.
