Roman Reigns is not being advertised for any WWE TV or house shows from June 18 to September 8 on WWE’s website.
Reigns is advertised for the June 17 SmackDown, then is not listed again until the September 9 SmackDown.
However, he is advertised for WWE’s two July PPVs: Money in the Bank on July 2 and SummerSlam on July 30. If he is actually scheduled for the PPVs, it would be strange for him to not appear on any TV shows for the build up.
At a house show this weekend, Reigns addressed the crowd and said that he was entering “a new phase” of his career and said that he wasn’t sure if he’d return to the city again (Trenton, NJ).
According to Dave Meltzer, Reigns recently signed a new WWE deal that will see him working far fewer house show dates going forward.
As of now, it’s unclear if he will actually be taking a couple of months off this summer, since he’s still advertised for the PPVs (though that could change).
