Tony Khan said that AEW will return to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, NY later this year and he hopes that AEW Grand Slam will be a yearly event at the stadium.
Speaking to News 12 in New York, Khan said, “I expect we’ll be back to have AEW Dynamite and Rampage Grand Slam in Queens at Arthur Ashe Stadium. We will be back and hopefully it’ll be another huge success later this year in 2022. Hopefully every year and this year for sure, AEW Grand Slam will be coming back to Arthur Ashe Stadium.”
The first AEW Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe took place on September 22 of last year and had about 20,000 fans in attendance.
