As noted before, WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis was recently place on administrative leave as part of the company’s on-going investigation against him over allegations of misconduct towards former female employees. In regards to Prichard replacing Laurinaitis as the Interim Head of Talent Relations, it was reported that the general reaction was more mixed. One talent spoken to stated that “Vince only knows three people” in a joking manner to Laurinaitis and Prichard being tasked with high level roles in the company. Another talent spoken to stated that they received multiple texts from other talents concerned over Prichard now handling both roles as head of creative and head of Talent Relations since now if a talent wants to request time off, they have to ask the person who is effectively their filter between creative and Vince McMahon.
It was reported that their sources stated that Laurinaitis was not backstage during Monday’s RAW show and several talent are currently working under the assumption that they will likely never have to do business with him again in the company.
In regards to McMahon’s mood, it was reported that he was seen being in a good mood backstage throughout the show, similar to this past Friday’s SmackDown show.
