During yesterday’s quarterly conference call, WWE said the much anticipated sequel to The Marine, The Marine 2, will be released early next year. As expected, the movie starring Raw Superstar Ted DiBiase, Jr. will be a straight-to-DVD release.
WWE released a statement toting Monday’s strong Raw rating as it was the most-watched episode in two years. Monday’s Raw drew a 4.1 cable rating with 6,031,000 total viewers – up 32,000 from the previous week.
Did you know? Overall, Raw was the most-watched cable program of the night, with more Males watching the show than both NCAA men’s basketball games combined, The O’Reilly Factor and Hannity combined, plus The Big Bang Theory, New Adventures of Old Christine, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother, Chuck and Medium. Raw was also the No. 1 show among male teens ages 12 to 17, topping House, Heroes, 24, Two and a Half Men and CSI: Miami. Plus, more viewers watched Raw than the entire Monday night primetime line-ups of MTV and FX combined.
