CM Punk, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are no longer champions in AEW as the fallout continues after their backstage fight on Sunday after All Out.
Tony Khan opened up tonight’s Dynamite backstage with an announcement that a new AEW World Champion and new AEW World Trios Champions would be crowned. No explanation was given on TV for why new champs would have to be crowned and neither Punk or the Elite were mentioned by name at all.
The World Championship tournament bracket is below. Bryan Danielson beat Hangman Page tonight on Dynamite. The final match to crown the new champion will take place in two weeks at Dynamite: Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens.

New Trios Champions were also crowned tonight on Dynamite as Death Triangle defeated Orange Cassidy & Best Friends.
Punk & The Elite Removed From Dynamite Intro
CM Punk, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were all removed from the AEW Dynamite intro video. Also, none of them were mentioned by name at all during tonight’s episode.
Omega and the Bucks (among others) have been reportedly suspended, while CM Punk’s AEW future remains up in the air at this point.
