Tonight’s Impact Wrestling’s Impact! show featured the surprise return of Jonathan Gresham. Following Eddie Edwards’ match with Delirious, Edwards launched a sneak attack on Delirious. Edwards managed to fend off Yuya Uemura who came to Delirious’ aid but was not able to do the same when Gresham came out to help Delirious.
Impact Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore announced on Twitter that Gresham recently signed an official contract with the company.

Prior to the start of the show’s main event, a new match was announced for Impact’s Hard to Kill 2023 event on January 13, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a singles match of Gresham vs. Edwards.
