Ring of Honor reportedly is currently estimated to have generated around 25,000 pay-per-view buys for their Final Battle 2022 event on December 10th, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported that based on current data and estimates, the breakdown is around 16,000 buys from streaming and 9,000 buys from traditional cable pay-per-view providers. Meltzer reported that first week estimates for PPV events are usually around five to ten percent lower than the final number.
ROH’s current buys for the event reportedly is the highest for a Final Battle event in Final Battle series history.
In terms of comparisons, Meltzer reported that this past April’s Supercard of Honor 2022 generated around 23,000 buys while this past July’s Death Before Dishonor 2022 event generated around 37,000 buys.
