WWE Hall of Famer reportedly suffered a medical emergency on Monday, according to Action News 5.
It was reported that Lawler had suffered a stroke at his home in Fort Myers, Florida and is currently recovering at a hospital.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer initially reported that Lawler did not suffer a stroke and instead had blood blockage on the right side of his brain but this was later confirmed to be a stroke by Dutch Mantell. Meltzer reported that Lawler was found in his home face down and rushed to the hospital for immediate medical treatment.
Meltzer also reported that Lawler woke up from surgery and had tried talk but was unable to do so and had no feeling on the right side of his body.
Former wrestler Mantell provided an update on Twitter stating that Lawler had regained partial use of his right arm and his speech is still affected but he is currently improving.
