AEW and Warner Bros Discovery reportedly are currently in the process of finalizing a deal for a new wrestling television show, according to The Mat Men Pro Wrestling.
Andrew Zarian reported that his sources stated that talks between AEW and WBD officials are close to finalizing a new deal that would see a third weekly AEW television show air on a WBD-owned network. Zarian reported that this new show would be one-hour in length although the official date for its debut is currently not known.
Zarian reported that an official announcement regarding this new upcoming AEW show likely will be made this April.
In a follow-up report, Zarian hinted on Twitter that this new AEW show could be airing on Saturday evenings starting at 6:05PM EST on TBS. This is the same night, timeslot, and network that took place for the classic WCW Saturday Night series.
If there was ever a day or time for new programming…
