Vickie Guerrero & Kris Benson Issue Statement Denying Sexual Abuse Allegations by Sherilyn

As noted before, Sherilyn Guerrero, daughter of Vickie and the late Eddie Guerrero, recently accused her stepfather of sexually abusing her during a family cruise trip in 2020. Sherilyn also claimed that her mother had sided with her stepfather and abandoned her over the issue. Vickie responded claiming that her daughter was not telling the truth over the incident. Sherilyn’s sister and indie wrestler Shaul Guerrero also recently responded claiming that Sherilyn was telling the truth about the sexual abuse incident but not about the family abandoning her over the issue.

Vickie and her husband Kris Benson, stepfather of Sherilyn and Shaul, recently issued an official statement from their lawyer on Instagram denying that Sherilyn’s accusations against them are true and have taken legal action against their daughter over her public comments.

KRIS AND VICKIE BENSON RESPOND TO SHERILYN GUERRERO’S RECENT ALLEGATIONS

Kris and Vickie Benson vehemently deny Sherilyn Guerrero’s recent allegations of sexual assault and abandonment.  Ms. Guerrero’s unsubstantiated accusations have caused the Bensons to suffer public ridicule, scorn, derision, and humiliation. Kris and Vickie fully appreciate the seriousness of allegations of this nature and the need for public support of sexual assault survivors; however, they ask that you withold final judgment on this matter until they have an opportunity to bring Ms. Guerrero and her claims into a court of law where judgment is based on facts and merit.
