AEW reportedly is currently expected to officially announce a new television contract with Warner Bros Discovery next week, according to the Wrestling Observer.
Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that this deal is currently expected to be announced during Warner Bros Discovery’s television Upfronts presentation next Wednesday at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
Meltzer reported that this upcoming Upfronts is also currently expected to also feature the official announcement of AEW’s upcoming new weekly television series, which is also expected to be called AEW Collision.
The monetary amount nor length for AEW’s new television deal with WBD is currently not known but recent rumors have hinted at it potentially being around five years in length for around $1 billion in total.
