Moose’s Impact Contract Reportedly Expiring Soon
Moose’s current contract with Impact Wrestling reportedly is currently set to expire soon, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that Moose’s contract with Impact is currently set to expire this month.
It was also reported that Moose had been set to enter free agency in summer of 2021 but Impact had signed him to a new two-year deal at the time to keep him in the company. Impact reportedly had locked down Moose to a new deal at the time before he could technically field offers from other promotions.
It was also reported that WWE had been interested in potentially signing Moose to a deal in 2021 but their interest dropped following the firing of WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Canyon Ceman. Besides Ceman’s firing, another reason reportedly was due to Vince McMahon dragging his feet on signing off for a potential deal over one of the primarily pitches to Moose was him getting to skip developmental and go straight to WWE’s main roster for his official debut.
