As noted before, WWE is currently planning for the third match of Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar’s feud to take place at this August’s SummerSlam 2023 event at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. This match is also current planned to feature a special match stipulation.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that WWE officials have held a lot of talk recently regarding adding a special match stipulation for a third high profile match between Rhodes and Lesnar.
One of the ideas reportedly being currently discussed is for this upcoming match to be held as a Bullrope match. Meltzer reported that WWE officials also currently have multiple other ideas on the table for this planned match but no official decision has been made yet regarding the direction nor plans for this match.
