As noted before, a new Japanese Joshi wrestling promotion is currently planning to launch this Fall in the United States.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources provided several new details regarding the plans for the upcoming launch of this new all-women’s promotion.
Johnson reported that this new promotion has been something that has been planned and worked on for several years. Some of the people behind this new promotion reportedly were consultants for Bushiroad, parent company of New Japan Pro Wrestling and Stardom, for a number of years.
In regards to the roster for this new promotion, Johnson reported that several talent involved in this upcoming new promotion were actually signed to contracts with the company earlier this year.
Johnson also reported that the only name currently confirmed for this new promotion is legendary and former All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling and WWE wrestler Bull Nakano. Nakano reportedly will not be wrestling for the promotion due to her being retired since 1997 but she will be actively involved in both a behind-the-scenes and an “on-screen” type roles.
