Tony Khan Comments on Challenges of Booking All In & All Out 2023 Closely Together
A recent episode of the Battleground podcast featured AEW CEO Tony Khan as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Khan’s thoughts on the challenges of booking AEW’s upcoming All In and All Out 2023 events closely together.
“Well, we’re going to find out. It’s exciting to do it and it’s going to be the first time anybody has tried anything like this. AEW has got our biggest show of all time coming up on August 27 at Wembley Stadium, it’s going to be a massive event. I’m so excited for the show. Right now, the ticket sales are unprecedented. This is the biggest pro wrestling event in the history of Europe. No show ever in Europe has sold more tickets or had a bigger gross than this. It’s pretty special. It’s one of the biggest wrestling events in the history of the world now. It’s going to be a week apart, two huge events, and we have some huge events leading into them.”

Hikaru Shida Comments on Her Goals for Her Current AEW Women’s Title Reign
Denise Salcedo held a recent interview with current AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida. One of the topics discussed included Shida’s thoughts about her current goals for her AEW Women’s title reign.
“What I want to do in this reign is what I couldn’t before, so yeah, the interview is one of those. I really want to [do a] promo in the ring, where I couldn’t before because of that worry about the English. But now I feel I can do that. Of course, I want to wrestle many girls in AEW, but I want to build more library. In Japan, we usually have many matches before the title match, and we build the storylines and the fans’ excitement. So I’m happy if I can do that in this reign too.”
