As noted before, National Wrestling Alliance owner Billy Corgan recently announced that the NWA recently signed two television contracts with a mystery television network.
Haus of Wrestling’s Nick Hausman reported that his sources stated that the mystery network mentioned by Corgan is The CW.
In regards to the two television deals for the NWA, Hasuman reported that one is for NWA’s weekly Powerrr television series while the other is for a new reality television series based on the behind-the-scenes day-to-day business of the company.
Hausman also reported that an official announcement regarding NWA’s new television deals with The CW is expected to be made “relatively soon.”
The CW is notable in wrestling history for being the home network of WWE’s SmackDown television series from 2006 to 2008 following UPN’s merger with The WB at the time.
