As noted before, WWE is currently very interested in potentially signing Giulia once her current contract with Stardom expires at the end of March of 2024.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that Giulia is currently considering either staying in Japan or signing with WWE for her next contract.
In regards to AEW, Meltzer reported that AEW officials have never made a serious play for her nor have they held any conversations with her. Giulia reportedly is also currently not considering AEW as a potential option for the future of her career.
WrestlePurists’ Ibou reported that his sources stated that the reason for AEW’s lack of interest towards Giulia is due to them being currently happy with their Women’s division and are positioning Julia Hart and Toni Storm to be the key stars for the division. AEW officials reportedly also currently feel that Mariah May will be a big star for them and have been investing in Megan Bayne. Skye Blue reportedly is another person who AEW officials currently are very high on due to them viewing her as a reliable star for the division.
